The Nutcracker and the Four Realms shows the story of a young girl. She is transported into a magical world of gingerbread soldiers and an army of mice. Up until now, The Walt Disney Studios has had a great year. Avengers: Infinity War, Incredibles 2 and Black Panther broke many box office records of the year. While there have been some setbacks, such as A Wrinkle in Time and Solo: A Star Wars Story, but this movie is the worst mistake Disney made this year.
With so many negative Nutcracker and The Four Realms Review all over the internet, its hard for the movie lovers to decide whether to watch it or not. Although its true that this movie is the studio’s worst reviewed movie of 2018, still there is enough entertainment to watch this Disney movie.
Unfortunately, the reviews have been a new low for Disney in 2018. With almost every film critic against this movie, it manages to get an average 5/10 rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Audience Score on the website shows 3 out of 5 scores with 45% audience liking.

Nutcracker and The Four Realms Review:
Clara Stahlbaum (Mackenzie Foy) is a typical girl from the Victorian era, who is good with mechanical tools. She also loves to solve riddles. On Christmas Eve, when her deceased mother leaves her an ornate egg. Which later she finds that came without a key and needs to be unlocked.
She sets out to ask her godfather Drosselmeyer (Morgan Freeman) about this strange gift. She was unaware of her god father’s secret powers. He used his power to send her to a fantasy world where the Land of Flowers, Land of Snowflakes, and Land of Sweets have banished Mother Ginger for her unfaithful actions. Clara has certain roles to play in this world, like finding the key, restore peace and harmony across the Four Realms.
I personally feel the story was a mix of Alice in the wonderland and Narnia. Director Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston tried their best to manage the movie, but because of its weak storyline, this movie fails in many directions.
Whether to watch it or not:
Although the story was utterly predictable, the costumes and music were stunning. I would suggest watching this movie at least once as it is a one-time watching movie. If you could wait for its home release then you can skip watching it on a big screen.
