In Monday’s meeting, the tone was friendlier. Glenn told Zelensky he looked “fabulous” in his suit, as the Ukrainian leader wore an all-black outfit instead of his usual wartime attire.
The video of the exchange was shared by Rapid Response 47, an official X account launched by the Trump White House. Glenn then apologized for his earlier comment, to which Zelensky playfully responded:
“While I changed my attire, you are still wearing the same suit.”
This response drew laughter in the room.
Interestingly, ahead of the meeting, Real America’s Voice had asked on X whether Zelensky would wear a suit. Reports from Axios indicated that the White House inquired beforehand about Zelensky’s attire. While Zelensky wore a suit, he skipped the tie.
