Further, Claude and Grok are currently experiencing what appears to be a widespread outage for many users. Claude is experiencing the same outage, it appears. SpaceXAI has also confirmed that Grok is having a service issue.
The downtime comes as OpenAI is rumored to share news around the launch of its next big model, called Astra, as soon as today. The new model may see OpenAI models upgrade from GPT-5.6 to GPT-6.
