One person was shot at the Westfield Century City Mall on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to reports from the Citizen app based on a local police scanner. The victim was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.

A video shared on the Citizen app captured a significant police presence at the mall following the incident.

Conflicting reports suggest that the victim may have sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the mall’s parking lot. However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has yet to provide information regarding a potential suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
