A man is dead and a woman injured following a shooting at MultiCare Allenmore Hospital, located near S. 19th Street and S. Union Avenue, according to the Tacoma Police Department (TPD).
KOMO News reported that the man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female victim is currently in “stable condition.”

Police Confirm No Active Shooter at Allenmore Hospital
Tacoma Police responded swiftly to the shooting and confirmed that no suspects are currently in custody. However, authorities emphasized this is not an active shooter situation.
“Two people shot – adult male killed, adult female is stable. Nobody in custody, but this is NOT an active shooter,” a TPD spokesperson told the media.
