Paramount Plus Cuts Annual Subscription by 50% Until Sept 18

Paramount Plus is offering 50% off its annual subscription plans for both new and returning subscribers. The deal runs until September 18, lowering the Essential plan to $29.99 per year (down from $59.99) and the Premium plan to $59.99 per year (down from $119.99).

The discount comes just in time for the NFL season, but Paramount Plus also offers movies, TV shows, and live sports, making it a strong choice for streaming fans.

What You Get With Paramount Plus

Essential Plan

The Essential Plan has ads and gives access to over 40,000 episodes of TV shows and movies, including:

  • Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • Yellowstone
  • Top Gun: Maverick
  • Bob Marley: One Love

It also streams live NFL games and UEFA Champions League matches.

Premium Plan

The Premium Plan is mostly ad-free and includes Showtime Originals, like:

  • Yellowjackets
  • Dexter: Resurrection
  • The Chi

Premium users also get 4K HDR streaming, offline downloads, and 24/7 live CBS access.

Popular Shows and Upcoming Movies

Paramount Plus offers a mix of classic and new content, such as:

  • South Park
  • Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
  • Criminal Minds: Evolution

Upcoming films include Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Gladiator II, and Transformers One.

Sports Streaming

Besides the NFL and UEFA Champions League, Paramount Plus will stream UFC events starting in 2026, moving away from pay-per-view.

Why This Deal Matters

This deal is unique because it’s for both new and returning subscribers. The $29.99 Essential plan is about the same as four months of the regular monthly subscription.

Subscribers should note that plans auto-renew at full price unless canceled before the year ends.
