Musk Hints Third Party After ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Is Passed: Details

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk recently discussed the idea of a third political party in the United States following President Donald Trump’s signing of the ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’

Musk endorsed a viral post that compared launching a third party to his high-risk ventures like Tesla and SpaceX, stating, “Elon starting a 3rd party is closely akin to Tesla & SpaceX. Low probability of success, but if successful, it could change the game.”

On his social media platform, X, Musk asked his followers whether they want “independence from the two-party system.” He proposed creating the “America Party” and included an interactive poll for his audience.

Musk’s interest in forming a new party comes after a fallout with Trump over the recent legislation, which passed both chambers of Congress.

Meanwhile, President Trump is set to sign his flagship tax and spending bill in a grand Independence Day ceremony featuring fireworks and a flyover by stealth bombers involved in military actions.

This bill includes significant funding for Trump’s immigration policies and highlights his influence over the Republican Party and U.S. politics.
