A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Pierce County deputies early Saturday after he allegedly threatened a school shooting and said he had access to guns, according to KOMO.

Officials said they first learned about the threats on Friday, when the boy was reportedly talking about violence and firearms. Deputies and SWAT officers served a warrant at a home on the 13500 block of 20th Avenue Court East around 1 a.m., taking the boy into custody safely.

He was booked into Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Center.

Investigators found multiple firearms in both secure and unsecured locations at the home. They also discovered loaded magazines with “school shooter” written on them, along with clothing and writings describing a mass shooting scenario.
