Reports confirmed that Barajas was killed in the Arenales Tapatíos neighborhood of Zapopan while with a woman. Two individuals on a motorcycle opened fire, striking both Barajas and his companion. Circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, but initial reports suggest that Barajas was not involved in any conflict.

As per a report from Infobae, the incident occurred as the suspect engaged in a dispute with another driver at a traffic signal. Following this altercation, he allegedly fired a random shot, which ultimately struck Barajas. He was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to a local hospital.

Suspect Arrested in Connection with Death

The suspect, identified as Jesus Preciado Dousten, 33, has been arrested and is facing several charges, including second-degree murder. Authorities have secured evidence from surveillance footage that identified Dousten as the owner of the motorcycle involved in the incident.

Glendale Police Sergeant Brian Hoskins shared that Dousten was apprehended at his apartment, where police recovered two handguns. Dousten is currently held on a $1 million bond, and further legal proceedings are expected as the investigation unfolds.
