Dublin Fire: Vegetation Blaze Near Dougherty Road and San Ramon Border

Firefighters are battling a fast-moving vegetation fire that broke out on Friday near the intersection of Dougherty Road and Bollinger Canyon Road in the Dublin/San Ramon area, according to local fire officials.

The blaze, named the Parks Fire, is burning on Camp Parks property and is clearly visible from Interstate 580, drawing attention from motorists and nearby residents. The fire was first reported on the northbound side of Dougherty Road, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky.

City of Dublin Confirms Fire Origin and Threat Level

In a Facebook update, the City of Dublin stated the fire began as a one-acre vegetation blaze on the Camp Parks base. While the fire is spreading quickly, officials confirmed no buildings are currently threatened.

Multi-Agency Firefighting Effort Underway

Emergency crews have launched a swift and coordinated response. The Camp Parks Fire Department is leading efforts with support from CAL FIRE, Alameda County Fire Department, and the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District.

Current Status: No Evacuations Ordered

Despite its proximity to residential and commercial areas, no evacuation orders have been issued. Officials emphasized that the blaze is contained to vegetation, and crews are actively working to stop it from spreading further.
