Google released their mobile website speed testing tool powered by PageSpeed Insights which is aimed more toward marketers and agencies to better deliver optimization reports. It also supports report sending right to your email or forward it to your developer.

Remember that a 100/100 score might not even be possible in all scenarios, as nowadays dozen of external scripts are implementing to websites. So try to maintain a healthy score above 80 which is perfect and easy to achieve.

2. GTmetrix

GTmetrix is another speed analysis tool which is very popular these days because of it’s easy to use options. It is effectively a one-stop-shop for all of your speed optimization needs combining the performance and recommendations provided by Google PageSpeed Insights and YSlow.

GTmetrix displays a summary at the top of the page, with webpage load time, page size, and the number of requests. The tool also displays a waterfall chart with all the useful data and that can be downloaded too.

GTmetrix free account allows you to save the last 20 tests, compare historical data, and have pre-configured settings for testing locations, connection speeds, browsers and more.

3. Pingdom

Pingdom is another website monitoring service, best known for its free website speed testing tool. It displays all of your site’s requests in a waterfall view.

Pingdom rating is broken down into twelve criteria, with each given an individual score. It stores the results of all tests performed on your website, allowing you to historically track speed improvements over time.
