Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Book 4 Edge, which includes an octa-core Snapdragon X Plus CPU for AI capabilities and a 15-inch display. The new laptop includes certain Galaxy AI functions and Wi-Fi 7 connection support.
The new Copilot+ PC, like the original Galaxy Book 4 Edge, includes AI capabilities like Cocreator, Windows Studio Effects, and Live captions. It has 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The original Galaxy Book 4 Edge comes in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch displays.
Samsung’s 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge is reported to feature a 15.6-inch full-HD (1,080×1,920) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 300nits peak brightness, and 60Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the newly announced Snapdragon X Plus 8-core CPU with Adreno GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, which can do up to 45 TOPS (trillion operations per second). It comes with 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. In comparison, the standard Galaxy Book 4 Edge has two display sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch. The 12-core Snapdragon X Elite processor powers both variants.
The new Copilot+ PC runs Windows 11 Home and includes AI features such as Cocreator, Live Captions, and Windows Studio Effects. The Cocreator feature helps you create images with text prompts, and Windows Studio Effects may automatically improve lighting and remove noise during video conversations. The real-time Captions feature provides real-time translations. Beyond the Copilot+ PC capabilities, the 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge provides access to select Galaxy AI features.
The 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge features Samsung Knox security. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 7. The updated model’s connectivity choices include two USB Type-C (4.0) ports, an HDMI 2.1 connector, a USB Type-A (3.2) port, a microSD port, a headphone microphone combo, and a security slot. The laptop features dual microphones and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility.

The price of the 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge has yet to be revealed. It will be accessible in certain markets, including France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States, starting October 10. It comes in a single Sapphire Blue color.
