In her social media post, Leavitt said she and Riccio are excited to expand their family and see their young son become a big brother.
“My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother,” Leavitt wrote, adding that motherhood is “the closest thing to Heaven on Earth.”
The couple welcomed their first child, Nicholas Robert “Niko” Riccio, in July 2024.
Who Is Karoline Leavitt’s Husband, Nicholas Riccio?
Leavitt and Riccio first met in 2022 during her congressional campaign in New Hampshire at an event hosted by a mutual friend at one of Riccio’s restaurants. At the time, they were acquaintances before their relationship developed further.
Riccio grew up in Hudson, New Hampshire, and attended Plymouth State University, where he faced financial difficulties before building a career in real estate. He later founded Riccio Enterprises, which owns more than 15 buildings in Hampton Beach, primarily rented to families.
Despite a 32-year age gap, Leavitt has said their relationship strengthened over time.
Marriage and Family Life
Leavitt and Riccio married in January 2025. She has spoken publicly about initial family concerns over their age difference but said those worries faded once her relatives got to know Riccio.
“Once they saw who he is as a man, and his character and how much he adores me, it became quite easy for them,” she said during an appearance on Pod Force One with Miranda Devine.
Leavitt added that Riccio maintains a respectful and warm relationship with her parents as they prepare to welcome their growing family’s newest member.
