Nashua Shooting: Police Respond to Gunfire Near Country Club

A Nashua shooting at the upscale Sky Meadow Country Club in New Hampshire turned a quiet Saturday evening into a scene of chaos. The incident unfolded shortly before 7:45 PM on September 20, leaving multiple people injured and triggering a massive emergency response.

According to dispatch logs, several trauma patients were reported at the gated estate on Mountain Laurels Drive. The Nashua Fire Department declared a mass casualty incident (MCI), mobilizing additional crews and equipment.

Emergency Response and Mass Casualty Protocols

Fire crews, ambulances, and mutual aid units from nearby towns rushed to the 200-acre property. Paramedics quickly established a triage area at the entrance, sorting victims by the severity of their injuries.

Helicopters were placed on standby at Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center, while some individuals with minor injuries sought help directly at local firehouses.

“These folks just showed up, bloodied but mobile—it shows how fast the situation escalated,” said one veteran firefighter who was not authorized to speak publicly.

Hospitals in Nashua and Manchester later confirmed receiving patients but declined to release details due to privacy concerns.

Suspects on the Run

Police confirmed that two suspects fled the scene during the Nashua shooting. One has been captured, while a manhunt continues for the other.

The Nashua Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit cordoned off the property to collect shell casings and review security footage. Investigators have not yet disclosed details about the suspects’ identities or potential motives.

Community Shock at Affluent Venue

The shooting has deeply shaken the community. Sky Meadow Country Club, known for luxury weddings, charity events, and corporate retreats, rarely sees violent incidents.

Nearby residents described the gunfire as sudden and shocking.

“We thought it was fireworks until we saw the sirens,” said a resident of Valley View Lane.

The country club has since closed indefinitely as the investigation continues.
