A wildfire, dubbed the ‘Bert Fire,’ erupted in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, on Tuesday afternoon. The blaze, located in the 29000 block of The Old Road, has grown rapidly, now encompassing 40 acres, according to Watch Duty.

Evacuations are currently underway in nearby Castaic as firefighters combat the fast-moving Bert Fire, which ignited near The Old Road and Biscailuz Drive around 2 PM. The wildfire poses a threat to nearby structures and is advancing uphill in rugged terrain.

Firefighters are diligently working to contain the flames, utilizing aerial support to assist ground crews. Local authorities have advised residents to stay updated through official channels as the situation unfolds.
