Twitch Suspends Streamer Nina Lin — Here’s What Happened

Twitch Hasn’t Revealed Duration of Nina Lin’s Ban.

Popular Twitch streamer Nina Lin has been banned from Twitch for a second time following the resurfacing of video clips that sparked renewed backlash online.

Her Twitch channel currently displays the message: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”

Second Ban in Less Than a Week

The latest suspension occurred on October 30, 2025, just five days after her initial ban on October 25.

Lin, alongside fellow streamer Zoe Spencer, was previously suspended after an incident involving Said, a production member from FaZe Clan. Twitch reinstated Lin’s account the next day, but new footage and public criticism led to another swift removal.

Allegations Against Nina Lin

Clips circulating on October 25 appeared to show Lin and Spencer touching Said without his consent during a live stream. The footage quickly spread across social media, where users labeled the act as “sexual assault” and called on Twitch to take stronger disciplinary action.

In a later broadcast, Nina Lin issued an apology, saying: “I’m old enough to own up to what I did wrong. I thought it was a joke. I just thought he was laughing, but yeah, I see it is wrong. What we did was wrong.”

Despite her apology, many users criticized Twitch for allowing her to return to the platform just one day after her initial ban.

Other Streamers Speak Out

The controversy grew as other popular streamers shared their experiences.

Disguised Toast claimed that Lin had also touched him without permission during Ludwig’s 2025 Streamer Games event.

“I felt very uncomfortable, but I didn’t want to make a scene because there were cameras on me and it was a sponsored event,” he said.

Streamer Valkyrae also reacted to Lin’s reinstatement, saying: “I cannot believe that Nina Lin is unbanned. Toast posted a video where she touched him, and he said he was uncomfortable. I think it’s crazy she was unbanned so fast after the Said situation.”

Asmongold voiced a stronger stance, urging legal consequences: “People like this need real punishment. Getting banned on Twitch is not enough.”

Twitch’s Response

As of now, Twitch has not confirmed how long Nina Lin’s latest suspension will last. Her account, @ninadaddyisback, remains offline, and all previous streams and videos are inaccessible.

The platform’s silence has fueled ongoing debate over Twitch’s moderation policies and how it handles streamer misconduct.

The Nina Lin Twitch ban highlights growing concerns around streamer accountability and platform consistency. While Lin has apologized publicly, community members continue to question whether Twitch’s enforcement actions are sufficient in addressing repeated violations.
