1. Agra, Uttar Pradesh
No wonder most people visit this place to witness the majestic symbol of love. Agra is the home of one of the seven wonders of the world which is the cultural representative of India. As per the locals, the best time to visit this place is between April to October.
Apart from the Taj Mahal, there are several other attractions like Agra Fort, Dilli Gate, Moti Masjid and Jama Masjid which adds this place in the top of the list.
2. Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir
Most people call Kashmir Valley as Heaven on Earth, and after visiting this place, you will also say so. If you are looking for a lush valley, mountain getaway, and a pleasant climate, then Gulmarg would be a great destination to consider. Filled with pinecone-filled forests this place has beauty that you can’t find elsewhere.
3. Leh-Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir
This place is my personal favorite because of its crazy winding roads, and desert mountains. You will find quite friendly locals out here to spend the night.
This place is also known as “Biker’s Paradise”, and you will find out most bikers exploring Zanskar Valley, Pangong Tso Lake, Khardung-La Pass. As per the travel guides and locals, April to May and mid-September to October is the perfect time to explore this place.
4. Rann of Kutch, Gujarat

I was utterly amazed by the landscape when I reached the salt land of Utah. This place is a season island with salt crystals, a vast sea and if you are a nature lover, then you will definitely find this place intimidating.
5. Udaipur, Rajasthan
Udaipur also called “The City of Lakes” has to be on your list of dream places to visit in India for its luxury heritage hotels, Lake Pichola, City Palace, Bagore Ki Haveli, and Jagdish Temple. The best time to explore Udaipur is between September to March.

6. Goa
Goa was under Portuguese control for a significant time in the history, and that’s the reason you will find a very similar beach destination like the Western countries here. This place is especially famous for its party life, beaches, and waterfalls. Consider visiting Dudhsagar Falls, Calangute Beach, Baga Beach, and Fort Aguada while you are in Goa.
7. Mysore, Karnataka
If you are a big fan of silk sarees, sandalwood and sweets then this royal city is a must-visit for you. Don’t forget to try some mouthwatering Mysore Pak on your next trip to this city.
