A New Jersey fire broke out at a three-storey townhome on Boulevard East in North Bergen on Sunday, prompting a third-alarm response from local fire departments.
The fire reportedly started in a first-floor garage and spread rapidly through the structure, sending thick smoke into the air that was visible from surrounding streets.

Firefighters Battle Intense Flames
Emergency crews rushed to the scene shortly after the alarm was raised. Firefighters worked aggressively to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes in the densely populated area.

Bus Routes Diverted Due to Fire Response
Fire department activity led to significant traffic disruptions in the area. Several bus routes were placed on detours along Boulevard East between 79th Street and 71st Street.
The affected routes include 23, 84, 89, 128, 156, 165, 166, and 168, which were redirected through alternate local roads while emergency crews remained on scene.
