The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northwestern Dallas County, Texas, as of Sunday afternoon.

  • Highland Park
  • Dallas Love Field Airport

  • Mountain Creek Lake
  • Buckingham
  • White Rock Lake
  • Grapevine Lake

DFW Airport Ground Stop Due to Severe Weather

A ground stop has been issued at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) due to the incoming storm system. The disruption is causing flight delays across multiple airlines and may continue as the storm moves southeast.

Special Weather Statement Expanded to Surrounding Counties

In addition to the thunderstorm warning, the NWS released a Special Weather Statement for a broader area including:
