1. Unfollow From Profile Page
To unfollow someone you can follow these steps,
- Go to the profile page of that friend whom you want to unfollow.
- Click on the Following option near their cover photo. (On the Facebook app, tap the three dots below their cover photo.)
- Select Unfollow. (On the app, tap Following and then tap Unfollow.)
2. Unfollow Using Post
To unfollow someone from their post follow these steps,
- Go to any post made by the friend you want to unfollow.
- Select the three dots on the top right of their post.
- Select Unfollow.
If you unfollow someone, you won’t see any more of this person’s posts, however, your posts are still visible to them unless they also unfollow you or block you.

- Go to your profile page.

- Select the person you want to unfollow, and then select Done.

How To Re-Follow Unfollowed Facebook Friends
If you want to see posts from your unfollowed friend in future again, then you can follow these steps to follow them again.
- Go to your Facebook profile page.
- Select the down arrow from the top menu bar. (In the Facebook app, tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom.)

- Select Reconnect with people and groups you unfollowed.
