Trump Responds to Online Conspiracy Theories.

US President Trump dismissed online rumors claiming he had died, calling them “pretty serious.” Speaking to reporters in Washington on Tuesday, he said, “No, I’ve been very active actually, over the weekend, I didn’t hear that one.” This was his first media interaction in a week.

Trump acknowledged speculation about his health but assured the public he remained active.

“I knew they were saying, like, ‘Is he okay? How’s he feeling? What’s wrong?’” he added.

Golf and Interviews as Proof of Activity

Trump highlighted his busy schedule over Labor Day weekend, including daily visits to his Virginia golf course. He also pointed to a recent interview with the Daily Caller as evidence that he has remained in the public eye.

“It’s also sort of a longer weekend, you know; it’s Labor Day weekend. I would say a lot of people know I was very active this Labor Day,” Trump said.

Comparing Himself to Biden

Trump addressed questions about his brief absence from press events, highlighting a recent Cabinet meeting that lasted over three hours: “Last week, I did numerous news conferences, all successful. They went very well, like this is going very well,” he told reporters.

He also drew a contrast with his predecessor: “And then I didn’t do any for two days, and they said, ‘There must be something wrong with him.’ Biden wouldn’t do them for months,” Trump quipped.
