Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, has found himself unexpectedly in the spotlight following the revelation of an alleged secret affair with the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot. The drama unfolded during a recent Coldplay concert in Boston, where a viral video captured the two in a seemingly romantic embrace, igniting speculation about their relationship.

Shocked Reactions on ‘Kiss Cam’

During the concert, Byron was visibly shocked when he and Cabot suddenly appeared on the ‘kiss cam.’ Upon realizing they were caught on camera, Byron was heard exclaiming, “F–king hell, it’s me,” while Cabot remarked, “This is awkward.” The two quickly hid their faces and rushed away from the lens, further fueling rumors of an affair.

Both Byron and Cabot are married to other people, leading to increased scrutiny of their relationship. Despite the swirling controversy, neither has issued a public statement to clarify the situation.

Concert Highlights and Celebrity Comments

In footage shared on social media, Byron was seen enjoying the performance with Cabot nestled in his arms. Chris Martin, the band’s frontman, commented, “Whoa, look at these two,” as the camera panned toward the executives. He later joked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” adding, “I hope we didn’t do something bad…”

Following the incident’s viral spread, Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan, removed her surname from her social media accounts and deleted her profile, prompting further speculation.

Identity Confusion Amid Controversy

In a humorous twist, another Andy Byron—the exec from Stylo Motion Design—responded on LinkedIn to clarify, “No, this isn’t me. I wouldn’t be caught dead at a Coldplay concert… If you want to make video content that goes viral for the right reasons, let’s connect 😂” He also updated his bio to read: “NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG!!”

Who is Andy Byron?

Andy Byron has served as CEO of Astronomer since July 2023. The couple, both 50 years old, resides in Northborough, Massachusetts, and they have two children. Byron previously held leadership roles at Lacework, Cybereason, and Fuze, contributing to his extensive experience in the tech industry.
