The Samsung Galaxy A55 was released in March of this year, and the Galaxy A56 is expected to appear in the first half of next year. While we wait for the official launch, a tipster has provided information on the hardware details of the upcoming A series phone.

The Galaxy A56 is expected to feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1580 chipset. It could have a triple back camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The A56 is expected to keep its predecessor’s 5,000mAh battery, but with faster 45W charging support.

Anthony (@TheGalox_) on X shared alleged details regarding the Samsung Galaxy A56. It is said to come in 8GB, 12GB RAM, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants, with a starting price of EUR 439.

The Galaxy A56 is said to have a full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and an aluminum frame with a glass back. It could have Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset under the hood, while the Galaxy A55 had the Exynos 1480 chipset.

The Galaxy A56 is expected to have three back cameras: a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel shooter. The existing model features a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle secondary camera. On the front, the Galaxy A5 is rumored to have a 12-megapixel sensor, which is a downgrade from the Galaxy A55’s 32-megapixel front shooter.
