iPhone 16 Pro Models Tipped to Feature Larger Displays Again

The iPhone 16 series is slated to replace the iPhone 15 lineup, which debuted in September 2023. There were four models in the series: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It has previously been suggested that the future series will include larger displays as well as other upgraded specs.

The exact dimensions of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max versions have already been suggested. According to a new report, the iPhone 16 Pro versions will have larger screens than previous models.

According to MacRumors, the reported iPhone 16 Pro model will have a 6.27-inch (159.31 mm) display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max would have a 6.85-inch (174.06 mm) display. This is larger than the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively.

According to the rumour, the iPhone 16 Pro model will be 149.6mm x 71.45mm x 8.25mm in size and weigh 194g. The previous iPhone 15 Pro model weighs 187g and measures 146.6mm x 70.6mm x 8.25mm.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, is claimed to weigh 225g and measure 163mm x 77.58mm x 8.25mm, whereas the previous iPhone 15 Pro Max weighs 221g and measures 159.9mm x 76.7mm x 8.25mm. Leaked CAD files for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, as well as DSCC analyst Ross Young, had previously suggested larger screens.

An earlier report also stated that the iPhone 16 Pro Max model will be the first in the lineup’s history to carry the ‘Ultra’ name. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to use tetraprism telephoto lenses, identical to the ones seen in the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
