Natural Summer Face Packs For Combination Skin

1. Banana Face Pack

Bananas are a superfood that will turn dull skin into glowing skin. These are packed with antioxidants and Vitamin A which is essential for healthy skin. Further, it has antioxidants zinc and manganese, which are anti-inflammatory. Apart from helping soothe dry skin, bananas can be used to treat various skin conditions, including acne.

In order to make the banana face mask mash ½ of the ripe banana in a mixing bowl and add in a dash of milk. Then add in ½ tablespoon of honey and mix well. Now apply and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

2. Cucumber Face Pack

Cucumber’s excellent anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe the skin and give you glowing and blemish-free skin. Formulated with 96% water, it is extremely hydrating. Cucumber hydrating water balances your complexion for days when the skin is extra dry.

Cucumbers are high in nutrients such as folic acid and caffeic acid. 3. Papaya Face Pack

Papaya has natural bleaching properties which will help you lighten those dark spots and acne marks. Its high content of water and works from the inside out. Including a healthy amount of this fruit will leave your skin moisturized and smooth.

Papain, an enzyme found in papaya, is used to enhance collagen secretion when applied topically. Collagen is a main component of the skin that keeps it looking healthy and plump.

Further, papaya is packed with antioxidants like lycopene and vitamins C and E. Antioxidants protect your skin from environmental damage, which may help your skin look younger and more vibrant over time.

Mash ¼ cup of ripe papaya in a mixing bowl and add 1 teaspoon of honey. Now mix well until combined. Apply, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

4. Watermelon Face Pack

Watermelon contains moderate amounts of lycopene. It’s a powerful antioxidant and there is some evidence that Lycopene is anti-androgen and has been linked to decreasing IGF-1 which could make Watermelon ‘anti-acne’.

Applying watermelon on your face can help reduce pore size and oil production. Since watermelons have high water content, they are great for dry skin. Applying watermelon on the skin is great for anyone with dry and dehydrated skin. The vitamin C present in watermelons helps you give not just soft but glowing skin.

Take about 2 tablespoons of cucumber and watermelon juice and mix in about 1 teaspoon of yogurt. Blend it into a smooth paste. Apply, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.

5. Sandalwood Face Pack

The natural oils present in sandalwood help to get rid of a sun tan. It also helps to soothe sunburn and has a cooling effect, reducing the redness caused due to sunburn.

Further, sandalwood has a soothing effect on inflammation caused by pimples and acne. This pack comprising sandalwood and rose water is best to bring glow and radiance to the face. Given the heat waves all around and the dull skin tone, this is best to bring a natural glow and freshness to the face without any effort.

Mix the sandalwood powder with the rose water to form a paste. Apply, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.
