Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch its new Galaxy Buds Core true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, likely to debut alongside its next-gen foldable smartphones. Interestingly, ahead of the official announcement, the Buds Core have already made an early appearance on Samsung’s website, possibly by mistake, revealing their full design and specifications.
The listing shows the earbuds in two color options and confirms they come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy Buds Core are expected to follow in the footsteps of the Galaxy Buds FE, which launched back in 2023.
The yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy Buds Core have quietly appeared on the official Samsung UAE website, listed in Black and White color options(later hidden).
The upcoming Galaxy Buds Core earphones are set to feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) along with select Galaxy AI features, such as Interpreter and Live Translate, enabling real-time translation when used with compatible Samsung Galaxy devices.
According to the official listing, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 and are compatible with AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s Scalable codec. They also support standard Bluetooth profiles including A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP. Each earbud includes a touch sensor for easy controls, and the pair is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for everyday use.
With Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned on, the Galaxy Buds Core are said to deliver up to 20 hours of playback on a single charge. Turn ANC off, and you can expect up to 35 hours of total listening time, according to the listing.
Each earbud is equipped with a 65mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 500mAh battery to extend usage time. In terms of size and weight, each earbud measures 19.2 x 17.1 x 22.2 mm and weighs just 5.3 grams. The case is compact as well, measuring 50 x 50 x 27.7 mm and weighing 31.2 grams.
