The company will unveil the OnePlus 13 in China on October 31. The upcoming smartphone will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU and a BOE display. With only days until the smartphone’s unveiling, OnePlus has begun to share specifics about its display features. The new OnePlus 13 will run ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. The smartphone maker has also stated that the phone will be available in three colors.
Prior to the release of the OnePlus 13, the company has revealed specifics about its display features. According to one of the photographs shared on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform, it would have a second-generation BOE Oriental X2 8T LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
The photos shared by OnePlus also show that the display will be DisplayMate A++ and TUV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 4.0 certified. It will also enable DC dimming and anti-flicker technologies to safeguard the eyes.
OnePlus has also teased features such as Rain Touch 2.0 (which allows the display to be used while wet). At the same time, another image implies it would also operate while a user is wearing gloves, and another ad indicates the phone’s display will include gaming-related touch optimizations.
The upcoming OnePlus 13 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The smartphone maker has also stated that the device will run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 (OxygenOS 15 in global markets). In a recent benchmark score released by the company, the handset received more than three million points on the AnTuTu benchmark test.
