The Insta360 X4 BMW Motorrad Limited Edition action camera was unveiled in China. The characteristics and features of the new variant are similar to those of the normal version, but the design is slightly different. It has a 72-megapixel CMOS sensor and built-in microphones that use AI noise reduction.
It can record 360-degree videos with resolutions of up to 8K. The Insta360 app also includes AI editing capabilities that users may utilize to modify 360-degree panoramic videos. The Insta360 X4 is said to have a recording time of up to 135 minutes on a single charge.
Insta360 verified the limited edition action camera’s launch in China via a Weibo post. The Insta360 X4 BMW Motorrad Limited Edition is priced in China at CNY 3,649. It contains additional accessories in the box. The company has not yet announced whether the BMW variant will be released in other markets.
The Insta360 X4 BMW Motorrad Limited Edition camera has functions identical to the standard variant, with the key difference being the style. The body and supplied case both have the BMW Motorrad logo. You also receive two protective lenses. The camera has a 1/2-inch 72-megapixel CMOS sensor, allowing 8K quality 360-degree video capture. It also supports 4K recording at 100 fps.
Insta360’s X4 BMW Motorrad Limited Edition action camera has an IPX4 rating, which means it can withstand water up to 10m. According to the company, a fully invisible diving case (available separately) may withstand water resistance of up to 50 meters. The camera includes four AI-powered microphones with sports wind noise reduction, which are touted to produce a clear sound.
