Walmart Faces Backlash Over ‘Kirk Shooter’ Tees Sale

Walmart is facing massive backlash online after users found that the retail giant is selling T-shirts resembling the one worn by Charlie Kirk shooting suspect Tyler Robinson. The tees, searchable under the phrase “Kirk shooter”, have sparked outrage across social media.

The Charlie Kirk Shooting Case

Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah native, was arrested after Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot while attending an event at Utah Valley University on Sunday.

Before his arrest, authorities released images showing Robinson wearing a black T-shirt featuring an American flag and a bald eagle, along with the caption:

“Land of the free, home of the brave.”

Walmart’s Listings Under Fire

When users searched for “Kirk shooter” on Walmart’s online store, similar T-shirts appeared in the listings. This discovery quickly spread online, sparking widespread anger.

Users React to Walmart’s Tee-Shirts

Social media users condemned Walmart, with many calling the listings offensive and unacceptable. One post claimed:

“Walmart is now selling ‘Kirk Shooter’ T-shirts mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk for $24.99 & $26.99.”

This has fueled calls among conservatives and supporters of Kirk to boycott Walmart over what they describe as a “vile act.”
