Nicki Minaj Appears at AmFest With Erika Kirk

Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmFest, stepping onstage alongside Erika Kirk, just days after JD Vance appeared to publicly favor her over fellow rapper Cardi B in a post on X.

Minaj’s appearance immediately drew attention due to its timing and her increasingly visible alignment with conservative political figures and causes.

Nicki Minaj’s AmFest Appearance

The “Harajuku Barbie” artist walked onto the AmFest stage holding Erika Kirk’s hands, drawing loud applause from the audience. After the entrance, Minaj sat down with Kirk for an onstage discussion.

Erika Kirk is the widow of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, and has remained a visible figure within the organization.

JD Vance Post That Sparked Attention

The appearance followed a recent social media exchange involving Minaj and Vice President JD Vance. Minaj shared an image of the Annabelle doll captioned “Vance > rant”, a post widely interpreted as support for Vance.

Vance later reshared the post on December 11, adding the caption: “Nicki > Cardi.”

The exchange fueled online speculation about Minaj’s growing political positioning.

Alignment With Trump Administration Views

Minaj, 43, has increasingly aligned herself with positions associated with the Donald Trump administration. She has spoken publicly about what she describes as religious violence against Christians, particularly in Nigeria.

Earlier in November, Minaj participated in a panel discussion connected to the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, where she addressed the issue.

“Dear God, release your immediate intervention in this matter. Rescue the hostages and may the peace that surpasses all understanding fall upon their families right now,” she said during the discussion.

Minaj Doubles Down on Christian Advocacy

At AmFest, Minaj reiterated her stance, emphasizing that she would continue speaking out on behalf of Christians worldwide.

“We won’t be silenced ever again, we will speak up for Christians wherever they are in this world,” Minaj said.

Erika Kirk joined the audience in applauding her remarks as the crowd responded with cheers.
