Shooting Scare Triggers Massive Response in Fairborn.

Emergency crews were dispatched on Saturday following reports of a possible shooting near the Fairborn SportsPleX in Greene County, Ohio.

Greene County Regional Dispatch confirmed that units were sent shortly after 14:40 local time. A Signal 99 — an alert requesting multiple emergency units — was issued at approximately 14:45, indicating the seriousness of the situation.

Police Block Off Area Near Mercy Health

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and officers arrived at the 5400 block of Intrastate Drive around 14:36.

Clark County Sheriff’s deputies at the scene said that Mercy Health in Fairborn has been closed, with the surrounding area blocked off as a precaution. Authorities have urged personnel and residents to avoid Dayton Springfield Road between Black Lane and Interstate 675 until further notice.

Officials have not yet released additional information regarding injuries or confirmed gunfire. The investigation remains active.
