Former Vice President Kamala Harris made a notable appearance in the Cotswolds last week, joining the celebrations for Eve Jobs, the youngest daughter of the late Steve Jobs and Laurene Powell Jobs. The festivities began with a private dinner at The Bull in Charlbury, just days before the couple’s wedding ceremony.
A Star-Studded Pre-Wedding Dinner
According to People, Harris was seen at the venue on Thursday night, seated at a lavish floral-covered table inside the countryside pub. The event was heavily guarded, with approximately 20 Secret Service agents stationed outside to ensure security.
Adrian Fenty, the former D.C. mayor and a close friend of the Jobs family, was also in attendance. The pre-wedding dinner was described as quiet yet elegant, featuring a short speech by Mona Simpson, Steve Jobs’ sister and a renowned writer. Guests enjoyed a delightful dinner while Jack Savoretti provided entertainment with a ten-song acoustic set, concluding with a cover of Dusty Springfield’s classic, “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me.”

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception
On Saturday, July 26, Eve married British show jumper Harry Charles in a charming ceremony at a medieval parish church in the Cotswolds. The reception followed at Estelle Manor, a members-only hotel and estate known for attracting tech and fashion elites.
Eve, 27, and Harry, 26, publicly debuted as a couple during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where Harry represented Great Britain. His father, Peter Charles, is a decorated equestrian, having won gold at the 2012 London Games.

Notable Guests and Pre-Wedding Highlights
The wedding attracted a select list of high-profile attendees, including Jessica Springsteen, daughter of Bruce Springsteen, and Jennifer Gates, daughter of Bill and Melinda Gates. Kourtney Kardashian was also spotted in the vicinity, sharing a photo on Instagram from Estelle Manor, though it remains unclear if she attended the wedding.
In the lead-up to the big day, Eve offered glimpses of her bachelorette trip, which featured a pink theme complete with yachts, pool floats, and champagne.
A Tribute to Family Legacy
Eve Jobs is one of four children of Steve Jobs and Laurene Powell Jobs. The influential Apple founder passed away in 2011 due to a rare form of pancreatic cancer. Eve grew up alongside her siblings: Lisa, 47; Reed, 33; and Erin, 29.
Kamala Harris’s presence at this significant event underscores her connection to high-profile figures in the tech and social elite, bringing attention to the legacy of Steve Jobs and the aspirations of a new generation.
