Users who do not have a Netflix subscription can now play the games on their smartphones, according to Rockstar Games. They will be needed to purchase the games from the Play Store or the App Store.

Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games stated in a press release on Thursday that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was available to all Netflix subscribers, as well as other iOS and Android users, for free on mobile devices. The three classic games’ mobile versions are said to have major visual and gameplay improvements.

According to the announcement, the three games Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, can be downloaded and purchased separately on smartphones.

The developer showed a new Classic Lighting mode, among other enhancements and features. It’s supposed to bring back “the look and feel of the sky in the original games.” The game download links are included with the release.

This bundle’s debut has previously been confirmed by Netflix Games. The Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy is also available for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
