Food delivery giant Uber Eats is facing a wave of user complaints following a reported service disruption in the United States. According to data from DownDetector, issues began spiking around 11:10 AM ET on Monday, August 4, 2025, with more than 500 users filing complaints within a short time.
The nature of the disruption appears to vary, with users reporting app crashes, order delays, and complete service unavailability in certain areas.
Frustrated Users Take to Social Media
As the outage persisted, many affected users took to X (formerly Twitter) and other social platforms to voice their concerns and frustrations. Posts ranged from screenshots of app errors to demands for transparency and faster response from Uber Eats.

Uber Eats Responds via X Support Message
While Uber Eats has yet to release an official statement regarding the issue, the company did respond to individual complaints via its support account on X. The message being sent to users reads:
“Please send me a private message addressing your concern I’m assigned to assist you. Thank you.”
This automated message, however, has done little to appease many users, with some expressing frustration over the lack of a broader public update.
What’s Next?
As of now, the cause of the disruption remains unclear, and there’s no estimated time for full service restoration. Users experiencing issues are advised to monitor Uber Eats’ official support channels and DownDetector for real-time updates.

LoudFact will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. If you’re facing issues with the Uber Eats app, you can report them directly through DownDetector or Uber Eats support on X.
