Officials confirmed that the helicopter was an Airbus Helicopters H130, type code EC30, registered as N414RX. The aircraft, operated by REACH Air Medical Services, is four years old, with serial number 8909 and Mode S code A4E489.

The helicopter was scheduled for multiple flights on Monday, covering areas including Sacramento, Redding, and Red Bluff, key regions served by REACH Air.

Sacramento Helicopter Crash Injuries

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, three people sustained critical injuries in the crash. It is not yet clear what their current conditions are.

Local reports indicate that all three victims were REACH Air employees, with one reportedly trapped under debris during the rescue operation. A responding firefighter was recorded saying: “All three are alive.”
