Storms Impact Regional Conditions

The Washington DC area was affected by several storms in the early evening, recording wind gusts of up to 39 mph at Reagan National Airport. There were also reports of fallen trees in Burke and Lincolnia in Virginia, as the storms advanced east past the Interstate 95 corridor.

According to the Capital Weather Gang, the possibility of isolated storms remains until 9 PM ET on Friday, with additional rainfall expected throughout the evening amid a humid atmosphere in the District.
