A bomb threat was reported on Monday at the Leavey and Doheny Memorial Libraries located on the University Park Campus of the University Of Southern California (USC).
According to KTLA, officials immediately urged students, staff, and visitors to stay away from the area while the threat was being investigated.

USC Issues Safety Warning
At around 2:45 p.m., USC posted on social media that the threat specifically targeted the Leavey and Doheny Libraries. The university urged everyone on campus to avoid the area.
In an update shared before 4:00 p.m., USC confirmed that the threat was still under investigation.
Safety Protocols in Place
According to USC’s official website, the Department of Public Safety is overseeing the situation. If evacuations are deemed necessary, students and staff will be directed to their designated building assembly areas.
USC further emphasized that anyone evacuated should remain at least 300 feet away from the building until officials declare it safe to return.
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities have not released additional details about the source of the threat. The university has assured the community that updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
