A balcony collapse in Cincinnati has left at least 20 people injured, with several hospitalized, some critically. The incident occurred on Stetson Street in Corryville, late Thursday evening.

According to the Cincinnati Fire Department, the collapse happened around 10 PM, causing life-threatening injuries to at least one individual.

“Most of those on the balcony were students celebrating the passing of an exam.”

Dramatic Footage Captures the Collapse

Videos circulating online reportedly show the balcony giving way during an event. Bystanders rushed immediately to rescue victims as they fell roughly 20 feet.

Emergency teams responded promptly, securing the area and providing initial medical assistance to those injured.

Investigation Underway

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the balcony collapse. Early reports confirm that most victims are believed to be college students.
