The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of children’s play yards sold on Amazon because the units pose a life-threatening suffocation and entrapment hazard. According to the agency, the play yards fail to meet required federal safety standards and can allow infants to become trapped under the mattress or between the mattress and the side panels.
The CPSC labeled the risk as life-threatening and instructed owners to stop using the product immediately.

How to check if your play yard is affected

- Confirm the product appearance (bear faces / paw prints print) matches the recalled design.
- If either identifier or the design matches, treat the unit as recalled and stop using it immediately.
What owners must do to get a refund
The CPSC and the seller are instructing owners to destroy the recalled play yard and submit proof to claim a full refund. Follow these steps:
- Remove the fabric cover from the frame.
- Cut up the fabric cover and the mattress pad so the product cannot be reused.
- Take a clear photo of the destroyed parts.
- Email the photo to the seller at the address provided by Anna Queen on the recall listing.
- After submission, fully dispose of the destroyed product.
Safety note and next steps
The CPSC has emphasized that owners should stop using the play yard immediately because the hazard could be life-threatening. If you believe your child was harmed by this product, contact local emergency services and seek medical attention right away.
