Jordan Fish, the long-time partner of NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, has been alongside one of the sport’s most recognisable figures for more than a decade.
Hamlin, a multiple race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, is also the co-owner of 23XI Racing, which he runs with basketball legend Michael Jordan.
Fire damages Hamlin family home
Authorities said a fire damaged the home of Hamlin’s parents in Gaston County, North Carolina, on Sunday night.
The house on Blacksnake Road near Stanley caught fire, and two people were taken to hospital. Officials did not immediately release further details about the incident.
Engagement and long relationship
Fish and Hamlin announced their engagement on January 1, 2024, formalising a relationship that began more than ten years earlier.
Fish was born on October 27, 1987, and is now 37 years old. The couple’s relationship has largely remained private despite Hamlin’s high-profile racing career.
Education and early career
Fish studied public relations and communications at East Carolina University, graduating in 2011.
While studying, she was a cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats, now known as the Charlotte Hornets, for two seasons.
According to USA Today, Fish and Hamlin first met when Hamlin was seated courtside during a Lady Cats sideline performance.
Business ventures
After her cheerleading career, Fish moved into business. She founded the children’s clothing brand Bambinos and later became chief executive of the custom handbag company Kustom Klutch.
Family life
Fish and Hamlin have three children together. Their first daughter, Taylor, was born in January 2013. Their second daughter, Molly, was born in August 2017.
In June 2025, Hamlin announced the birth of their son, Jameson. He missed a NASCAR race in Mexico City to be with Fish and their newborn shortly after the birth.
