The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to be officially announced on January 17 during the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event. The upcoming Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra may differ from its predecessors by featuring updated screens, new chipsets, and cameras.

Most recently, a tipster revealed that the Galaxy S24 lineup will have a significant improvement in touch response speed. The improved touch response rate should result in smoother phone operation.

Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) on X reported that the touchscreen reaction time for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be more than 10% faster than prior models. This would result in a smoother and faster response for users. This could potentially contribute to a better S Pen experience on the high-end Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S24 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24+ is reported to have a 6.7-inch (1,440×3,120 pixel) Dynamic AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. The panels on all three phones might have a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits.

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series is expected to be unveiled on January 17 during the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event.

The Galaxy S24 range is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for Galaxy. In certain global areas, the normal Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ may be powered by an Exynos 2400 chip.
