About the Gloria Funicular

The Gloria Funicular, built in 1885, links Praça dos Restauradores in central Lisbon with the Bairro Alto district.

Known for its steep climb and yellow vintage cars, it has become a famous Lisbon landmark and a favorite among both locals and tourists.
