John Crawley, known as KingBeardX on TikTok, has sadly passed away at the age of 47. The popular social media personality, celebrated for his humorous takes on food consumption, died Monday at a hospital in Mississippi, according to reports Glenfield Funeral Home.

What Was John Crawley’s Cause of Death?

James Steele, the funeral director at Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany, confirmed that Crawley’s cause of death was cardiac arrest. “Knowing him personally, John was a good guy. He lit up a lot of people’s worlds. I just left his house and was with his mother; we prayed together. She’s torn up right now, but she’s going to make it,” Steele shared.

GoFundMe for Medical and Funeral Costs

Crawley had been hospitalized for over two weeks due to breathing complications, which led to him being placed on a ventilator and later transferred to the ICU. A GoFundMe campaign initiated by his friend and former podcast co-host, Anthony Caruso, aimed to cover Crawley’s medical expenses, noting that he lacked insurance.

“Hello there! My name is Anthony Caruso, and I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help my friend, John Crawley (also known as KingBeardX). John is currently in the ICU, struggling to breathe. He is the main breadwinner for his family, and unfortunately, he doesn’t have medical insurance. His condition is quite unstable,” Caruso wrote earlier this month.

Due to Crawley’s passing, the fundraiser will now also assist with funeral costs and support his family, who relied on him as their main provider.

Fan Tributes and Legacy

Crawley’s last TikTok post was shared on July 22. Since his death, fans have flooded social media with heartfelt tributes, remembering his infectious humor, positivity, and ability to connect with audiences worldwide.

The loss of John Crawley, or KingBeardX, marks a significant moment for his fans and the TikTok community, highlighting his impact on social media and the lives he touched.
