A massive fire broke out Friday afternoon at a tire warehouse in Gresham, Oregon, filling the sky with thick black smoke visible from miles away. The fire occurred near NE 190th Place and Halsey Street, prompting an immediate response from multiple fire departments.
Gresham Fire Department Issues Advisory
The Gresham Police Department shared an urgent advisory on X (formerly Twitter), warning residents to steer clear of the area.

Multiple Agencies Responding to the Blaze
According to Fox12 Oregon, firefighters are battling the flames both inside and outside the warehouse to contain the blaze and prevent further spread. Portland Fire & Rescue and Clackamas Fire are assisting Gresham Fire in bringing the fire under control.
Smoke Visible for Miles
Videos shared on social media show thick plumes of black smoke rising high into the sky, alarming residents and commuters in eastern Gresham. One Facebook video captured vehicles moving along the road with dark smoke filling the background, sparking widespread concern online.
As of now, no injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
