A significant East Houston Fire broke out at a warehouse on Milby Street in Houston’s East Downtown area, which stores lithium and lead acid batteries. Heavy smoke was visible as Houston Fire Department crews arrived near Winchester.

No Danger to the Public
Authorities have confirmed that there is no danger to nearby residents or the public. However, the Houston Police Department urged people on X to allow firefighters space to continue their work:
