A terrifying crash shocked visitors at the Kipona Festival on Monday evening when a red minivan broke through barriers and hit multiple people, according to Harrisburg police.
Incident Reported Near North Front Street
The crash happened around 6:12 PM near North Front Street and South Street. Witnesses said the driver drove through festival barriers, hitting vendors and pedestrians before stopping.
Police later found a damaged red van near Cranberry and Front Streets. The area was taped off as officers investigated the scene.

Child and Woman Hurt in Crash
Police Commissioner Thomas Carter confirmed that two people were hurt — a child and a woman in a wheelchair. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams said she is visiting the victims at UPMC Harrisburg.
