Reports of an active shooter surfaced from the Owl Bar in Anaconda, Montana on Friday afternoon. Multiple individuals were reportedly injured in the incident at the bar, located on East 3rd Street in downtown Anaconda.

City of Anaconda on Lockdown
The Granite County Sheriff’s Department confirmed it is an active shooter situation. According to NBC Montana, the city of Anaconda has been placed under lockdown.
“There is an active shooter in Anaconda Deer Lodge,” the statement from Granite County Sheriff read. “Granite County deputies are at the Georgetown Lake / Flint Creek area.”
“The shooter is said to be wearing a tye dyed shirt, blue jeans and a orange bandana. There is no threat to Granite County at this time.”

Suspect Flees in Stolen Vehicle After Owl Bar Shooting
The Montana suspect who allegedly opened fire at the Owl Bar reportedly stole a Ford F-150 truck and is now fleeing toward Georgetown in a high-speed chase.
There are possible fatalities in the range of 4 to 6, though this has not been officially confirmed.
SWAT Clears Suspect’s House, Shooter Still at Large
The Granite County Sheriff’s Office reports that SWAT teams have cleared the suspect’s residence in Anaconda following the shooting.
