ARC Raiders players experienced major server problems on December 13, with thousands reporting connection issues during one of the game’s most challenging limited-time events. According to Downdetector, more than 1,200 users reported problems at the peak of the outage.
Reports indicate that the first disruptions began around 3:49 PM EST, affecting players across major cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Boston. As of now, ARC Raiders has not issued an official statement, and the cause of the outage remains unknown.
Players Frustrated as Harvester Event Gets Interrupted
The timing of the outage caused additional frustration, as many players were participating in the high-stakes Harvester limited-time event when the servers went down.
One user wrote: “Just sitting here watching the reports climb and all I want is the harvester.”
Another gamer expressed their frustration as the event timer neared its end:
“NOT NOW NOT WITH THE HARVESTER ONLY HAVING 10 MINUTES LEFT WHY GOD WHY.”
Fortunately, the disruption appeared to be brief, with complaint levels dropping shortly after the initial spike.
ARC Raiders’ Growing Player Base
This is not the first time ARC Raiders servers have faced temporary downtime, but the impact is growing as the game’s popularity surges. The extraction shooter from Embark Studios witnessed a massive response after its October 2025 launch, reaching over 700,000 peak concurrent players across all platforms.
What Is the ARC Raiders Harvester Event?
The Harvester event is a limited-time, high-difficulty challenge that appears on select maps. It is guarded by formidable enemies such as the ARC Queen, and players who complete the event can earn legendary blueprints and other top-tier rewards.
To complete the Harvester event, players must:
- Navigate hazardous zones
- Work together to locate and insert power capsules
- Destroy multiple yellow buttons inside the Harvester structure
Recent patches have made the event even more difficult, increasing its appeal—and frustration—among players.
As ARC Raiders continues to grow, players hope that server stability will improve during key in-game activities like the Harvester event.
