Pakistan Army Camp Blast Leaves 7 Soldiers Dead.

A powerful suicide blast struck a Pakistan Army camp in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali district on Friday, killing seven soldiers near the Afghanistan border. Officials confirmed that the attack was carried out by militants linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to military sources, a suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the camp, triggering a massive explosion.

“A viral video showed the moment of the powerful explosion, with thick plumes of smoke rising from the Pakistan Army camp.”

TTP’s Growing Threat in Pakistan

The TTP, also known as the Pakistani Taliban, is a coalition of various extremist groups formed in 2007 after Pakistani military operations targeted Al-Qaeda-linked networks in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. The group has continued to carry out cross-border attacks despite security operations.

Rising Tensions Between Pakistan and Afghanistan

Militant attacks inside Pakistan have increasingly strained Islamabad’s ties with the Afghan Taliban. Relations worsened after Pakistan urged Kabul to take decisive action against militants allegedly operating from Afghan soil.

The attack occurred amid a fragile ceasefire along the Durand Line, following a week of intense border clashes between Pakistan and Taliban-ruled Afghanistan that left dozens dead on both sides.

Foreign Office Confirms Ceasefire

Pakistan’s Foreign Office confirmed that the temporary truce, which began Wednesday evening, was initiated at the request of the Afghan Taliban government. The situation remains tense as authorities continue to assess the damage and potential security implications of the latest attack.
