Leander ISD Bus Crash in Sandy Creek Injures 12 Students; Others Reunited at Local Church.

A Leander Independent School District (ISD) bus carrying 42 children and one adult crashed on Wednesday in the Sandy Creek area along Nameless Road in Leander, Texas.

At least 12 children were injured, according to Fox 7 Austin.

Injured Students Airlifted; Others Reunited

Those injured were airlifted to hospitals, Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed. Students who did not require hospital admission were transported to the Round Mountain Baptist Church for reunification.

Massive Emergency Response Underway

Authorities have urged drivers to avoid Nameless Road near Palomino Ranch Drive as multiple emergency agencies respond to the crash.

The current condition of the injured children has not yet been disclosed.
